A matchbook is the one thing you're allowed to take home from a private club. These four were collected across Blake's. The checkered sleeve from the bar, the crested monogram, the house façade drawn in fine engraved line and printed together across the back, laid out the way they'd fall from a coat pocket at the end of the night. The matches sit raised in puff print, green tips standing off the cloth with a textured feel. One repeats in miniature at the chest.
Cut in undyed cotton left in its natural state. Flecks of cotton seed run through the cloth; with no dye, the colour belongs to the fibre and shifts slightly from one piece to the next. Boxy body, ribbed crew neck, straight hem.
